The government today (March 29) dispatched a 51-member rescue team composed of personnel from the Security Bureau, Fire Services Department, Immigration Department, and Hospital Authority to Myanmar. (DDN)

The government today (March 29) dispatched a 51-member rescue team composed of personnel from the Security Bureau, Fire Services Department, Immigration Department, and Hospital Authority to Myanmar to assist with search and rescue efforts in the earthquake-stricken areas.

Chief Executive John Lee, Secretary for Security Chris Tang, Secretary for Health Lo Chung-mau, and Fire Services Department Director Yeung Yan-kin were present at the airport to see them off. The Security Bureau stated that the rescue team, guided by a spirit of professionalism and a commitment to saving lives, will immediately join the rescue efforts upon arrival, aiming to bring hope and support to those affected.
