At the ongoing Boao Forum for Asia Annual Conference 2025 in Hainan, foreign guests from various countries and sectors actively discuss China-related topics, recognizing the country's remarkable development and transformation while contributing diverse global perspectives to the Forum's key issues.
Denis Depoux, Co-President of the Global Management Committee at Roland Berger, remarked that Asia is developing rapidly, with China playing a leading role. He noted that China's supply chains are expanding into other parts of Asia, helping to establish a more assertive regional foundation.
Siddharth Chatterjee, United Nations Resident Coordinator in China, shared that he has witnessed astonishing daily progress in his four years working in China. He emphasized that China's advancements across multiple sectors have left a lasting impression on his 29-year career.
Meanwhile, Guy Ryder, United Nations Under-Secretary-General, praised the Boao Forum for offering a safe, open, and inclusive space for dialogue, where global representatives can come together to address complex and challenging issues, rebuild trust, and collaboratively search for solutions.
