The third Wealth for Good in Hong Kong Summit took place on March 26 and concluded with a Gala Dinner.
During the dinner, Maye Musk, mother of Tesla founder Elon Musk and a senior advisor to the current U.S. president, engaged in a conversation with Irene Tracey, the Chancellor of the University of Oxford. They shared their insights on women's leadership and succession, exploring the role of female leaders in driving business, innovation, and social development.
The dinner was attended by over 130 decision-makers and family members from family offices across mainland China, Asia, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East. Acting Chief Executive Chan Kwok-ki remarked during his speech that Hong Kong is a hub of talent and creativity, "a platform for foresighted individuals to create lasting legacies, and a vibrant city where family offices and families can thrive."
Before arriving in Hong Kong, Maye Musk visited Wuxi, where she also test-drove the newly launched Tesla Model Y and had high praise for the experience. When she visited Hong Kong two years ago, she mentioned on the social media platform "X" that she saw many Teslas there, clearly a testament to her son's loyal fan base.
