
At midday on March 19, a Kowloon Motor Bus (KMB) route 74X collided with a central barrier on Tolo Highway near Care Village in Tai Po, leaving 11 people injured.

The crash caused extensive damage, with the accordion-style barrier bending and piercing the bus's front. The windshield was shattered, bloodstains were visible near the driver's seat, and seats on the lower deck were dislodged or completely detached, highlighting the severity of the impact.
According to reports, the 45-year-old male driver suffered facial injuries. This was his second shift of the day. Among the injured were six women and five men aged between 29 and 71, all of whom sustained minor injuries.
KMB has dispatched staff to provide assistance to the injured and is currently investigating the cause of the accident.
