Authorities seized 34 vape cartridges suspected to contain the drug Etomidate, commonly referred to as "Space Oil," as well as suspected cocaine.
The pursuit began around 9 p.m. on Portland Street when officers noticed a suspicious black private car. As police moved to intercept the vehicle, the 22-year-old male driver attempted to escape, crashing into four vehicles in the process, including a police car.
The driver was arrested at the scene on multiple charges, including dangerous driving, unauthorized use of a vehicle without the owner's consent, driving without a license, driving without third-party insurance, drug trafficking, and drug possession.
The 24-year-old female passenger was also arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and possession.
