Recently, scammers have been impersonating the logistics platform Cainiao to send phishing SMS messages in an attempt to obtain citizens' personal and financial information.
Cainiao has reported a rise in counterfeit logistics scam websites pretending to be "Cainiao Hong Kong." On March 11, they stated to the media to combat fraud and joined forces with the Hong Kong Police Force's Anti-Deception Coordination Centre (ADCC) to enhance anti-fraud publicity efforts.
