China will roll out a new round of policies this year to support the employment of young people, including college graduates, an official said Sunday (March 9).
Minister of Human Resources and Social Security Wang Xiaoping introduced, this year, fresh graduates and college graduates is 12.22 million people, the scale of poverty alleviation population needs to be maintained at more than 30 million people, there are still a large number of rural transfer labor force needs to achieve stable employment, the total pressure of employment will not be reduced, the structural contradiction is more prominent. At the same time, the external environment has become more complex, the domestic economy is not yet a solid foundation for recovery, may have a certain impact on employment.
Wang said that as China's high-quality development advances solidly, a large number of new technologies, new products and new scenarios are applied on a large scale, diversified and differentiated consumption potential continues to be released, and various types of financial institutions and innovation and entrepreneurship benefits are effectively stimulated, all of which have established a solid foundation for stabilizing and expanding employment.
