The World Grand Prix kicked off on March 4 at the Kai Tak Sports Park. However, due to delays, organizers requested spectators to leave after the current frame around 11:15 pm, leading to dissatisfaction among some attendees. The organizers have since issued a public apology and offered compensation, allowing holders to exchange their tickets for equivalent value.
The tournament continued into the second day, with matches resuming on the evening of March 5 and concluding around 1:22 am on March 6. To facilitate the departure of the audience, the organizers arranged shuttle buses to manage the crowd flow. Observers noted that attendees walked to the nearby Kai Tak Youth Sports Park to catch shuttles to Langham Place in Mong Kok. A total of four buses were deployed, with the first leaving around 1:40 am, effectively alleviating traffic congestion after the event.
