The organizing committee of the World Grand Prix snooker event issued a statement today (March 5) apologizing for the early departure of spectators before the end of last night's final match.
The organizer today proposed a compensation plan, under which spectators holding tickets for last night's 7:30 pm ticket at table 1 can present their tickets at the souvenir shop opposite gate G from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm today and tomorrow to exchange their tickets for any of the matches of today and tomorrow at the same ticket price.
A statement from the tournament organizer is below:
Regarding the World Grand Prix 2025, some spectators were asked to leave the table 1 end game on March 4 before the end of the match and therefore could not finish the match. The tournament organizer apologizes for the inconvenience.
After the incident, the organizer has made active communication with the venue to ensure that the spectators of the evening events from March 5 to 9 can leave the venue after the end of the event. The organizing committee advises spectators to plan their itinerary and transportation arrangements in advance, taking into account the timing of their arrival at the venue to watch the event.
For the unpleasant experience caused by the first day of the event, the organizer will offer a compensation plan as follows: Ticket holders of table 1 at 7:30 pm on March 4 can redeem their tickets for any of the matches on March 5 and 6 from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm at the souvenir shop opposite gate G. The tickets redeemable will be of the same price. Tickets are subject to availability.
