Caritas Medical Centre is under scrutiny after reports emerged of a fatal medical incident involving an elderly male patient. The Hospital Authority confirmed that representatives from the hospital will hold a press conference this afternoon (March 5) to disclose details of the event.
The patient, who was reportedly undergoing treatment for intestinal obstruction and required surgery, allegedly passed away after being fed the wrong type of food due to a suspected communication error.
