Forbes has announced the Forbes 2025 Hong Kong's 50 Richest List, with Li Ka-shing maintaining his position at the top of the list.
Li retired as chairman of CK Hutchison Holdings and CK Asset Holdings in 2018 but remains senior advisor. His net worth is estimated at US$37.3 billion (approximately HK$290.94 billion), solidifying his status as HK's richest person once again.
Following Li are Lee Shau-kee, founder of Henderson Land, with a net worth of US$29.2 billion, and the family of Henry Cheng, chairman of New World Development, with US$19.5 billion. The five Lee siblings from the Lee Man-tat family ranks fourth with US$16.2 billion.

According to Forbes, HK's economy grew by 2.5% last year, and stimulus measures in the mainland have boosted investor sentiment, driving a stock market rally. However, challenges in the real estate market and ongoing trade tensions have limited growth, with the combined wealth of HK's 50 richest rising by only 1.7% year-on-year to US$301 billion (approximately HK$2.35 trillion). The minimum threshold to make the list increased to US$1.4 billion, up from US$1.1 billion last year.
