According to a report by CCTV News, data from online platforms indicates that the animated film Ne Zha 2 has maintained its position as the number-one film in the Hong Kong daily box office rankings for four consecutive days since its release in the city. Its cumulative box office revenue in HK has now exceeded US$2.07 million, securing its place as the highest-grossing film of 2025 in the HK market.
Globally, Ne Zha 2 has achieved unprecedented success. The movie's worldwide box office revenue, including both presales and overseas earnings, has surpassed RMB 13.9 billion. The film has set numerous milestones, including becoming the first Asian movie to gross over RMB 10 billion and achieving the highest box office revenue ever recorded in a single film market worldwide.
