According to reports from U.S. media, American Airlines Flight AA292, carrying 199 passengers and crew members, took off from New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport on the night of Feb. 22, with New Delhi as its intended destination. However, the flight made an unscheduled landing in Rome due to safety concerns.
