
On the afternoon of Feb. 17 (local time), Delta Air Lines flight 4819 landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada when the accident occurred, the aircraft overturned upside down, but fortunately, all 80 passengers on board and the crew survived. According to CCTV news reports, local time on Feb. 19, Delta Air Lines spokesman said in an e-mail, the airline will be involved in the incident to all the passengers compensation of US$30,000 each, no additional conditions.
The Transportation Safety Board of Canada said it is now removing the plane from the tarmac. The two black boxes have been found and the investigation is underway.
In addition, some of the passengers are considering legal action. Law firms in the US and Canada have already been involved.
