
This afternoon (Feb. 23) at around 2 pm, a four-vehicle collision occurred near the K. Wah Centre on the East Coast Corridor in North Point, involving a truck, a taxi, a private car, and a medium-sized truck.
Police and firefighters quickly arrived on the scene to assist. Reports indicate that the drivers of the truck and the private car were injured, with the truck driver briefly trapped and bleeding upon rescue. Both injured individuals were taken to the hospital for treatment.
The Transport Department has announced that due to the accident, some lanes on the East Coast Corridor heading towards Chai Wan near the K. Wah Centre have been closed, and drivers are advised to use the remaining lanes.
