Citybus, in collaboration with the Southern District Office of Home Affairs Department and Ocean Park, has launched the giant panda-themed open-top bus service. Starting today (Feb. 22), the service will operate three routes: H1, H2, and H2K, connecting Tsim Sha Tsui to Central and covering both the Kowloon and Hong Kong Island north shore areas.
Additionally, on March 17, two new routes—H3 and H4 will be introduced, offering a one-hour journey through scenic spots like Ocean Park, Repulse Bay, Stanley, and Kennedy Town Praya. The fare for these routes is HK$47.6, consistent with other sightseeing bus services. A total of 17 trips will be available daily.

The buses feature adorable giant panda designs in various poses on the exterior, a large panoramic sunroof, and Arabic-language displays, aligning with the strategy to promote the "panda economy" and attract Middle Eastern tourists.
Citybus will also distribute 500 free tickets to Southern District residents, allowing them unlimited rides on the panda-themed open-top buses and other routes within a 24-hour period.
