The Kai Tak Sports Park is set to open on March 1, marking the launch of Hong Kong's "Super March." Rosanna Law briefed the media today (Feb. 20) regarding ticket arrangements for the opening ceremony.

Law announced that a total of 33,600 tickets will be distributed for the opening event. Of these, 16,800 tickets will be allocated by the government, while the remaining 16,800 will be distributed by sponsors, partners, and organizations involved in the park's development and operation.

From the government-distributed tickets, 8,300 will be given to low-income families, including participants of the "Strive and Rise Program" and invited guests. Additionally, 8,500 tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Feb. 21) at 10 am through the Cityline ticketing system for HK$10 each. Residents can purchase up to two tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. After purchasing, attendees will receive electronic vouchers, which can be exchanged for physical tickets at the park on Feb. 27, 28, and March 1 upon presentation of identification.

Law noted that each ticket sold online incurs a HK$9 processing fee, but all proceeds will be donated for charitable purposes. She advised residents to exchange their tickets early on Feb. 27 or 28 to avoid potential crowds on the opening day, suggesting they explore the park's dining and retail options on March 1.
