
MTR announced today (Feb. 20) that starting this Sunday (Feb. 23), it will strengthen the train service frequency on the Tseung Kwan O Line during Sundays and public holidays, adding at least 52 additional trains each week to better accommodate passenger travel needs.
According to MTR, the Tseung Kwan O Line will see increased service throughout most of the day on Sundays and public holidays. Specifically, the train frequency between North Point and Po Lam stations will be enhanced to approximately every 4.5 minutes, and services between Tiu Keng Leng and LOHAS Park Station will also be improved. MTR will continue to monitor the operations of all rail lines, passenger travel patterns, and ridership levels, making necessary adjustments to train services based on actual needs and operational conditions.
