A Delta Air Lines aircraft landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada on the afternoon of Feb. 17, and overturned, surviving all 80 people on board.
The airport said on Feb. 18, local time, after the incident was sent to the hospital for treatment of 21 people, 19 people have been discharged from the hospital, the remaining two people's injuries are not life-threatening. The wreckage is expected to remain on the runway for 48 hours. The two runways at Pearson International Airport will remain closed until the wreckage is removed.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation. At the time of the accident, the airport was operating in high winds and snow.
