
A fire broke out at a rooftop unit of Choi Lan House on Yu Chau Street, Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong, early this morning (Feb. 20). The incident occurred at 7:54 a.m. when smoke was seen billowing from the rooftop of 257 Yu Chau Street.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene and used a ladder truck and water hoses to extinguish the flames. Residents evacuated the building on their own, while one woman reported feeling unwell and was taken to an ambulance for medical attention. The fire was successfully put out.
