Apple CEO Tim Cook recently announced via social media that a new product will be unveiled on Feb. 19, local time. According to reports, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be officially introduced at the event.
Leaked information suggests that the iPhone SE 4 will feature a design similar to the iPhone 14. The front will sport a notch display with an OLED screen supporting a 60Hz refresh rate. The back will house a single camera, and the device will adopt a flat metal frame. Unlike other models, it will not have a dedicated camera button, and the bottom will feature a USB-C port.
Regarding its pricing, leaks indicate that the iPhone SE 4 will see a price increase to US$499, compared to the current iPhone SE's price of US$429. The price hike is reportedly due to hardware upgrades. The iPhone SE 4 is expected to be powered by the A18 chip, paired with 8GB of RAM, and will support Apple Intelligence features. However, the storage options remain unchanged, starting at 64GB, with additional 128GB and 256GB variants available.
Interestingly, a report from SellCell highlights that the iPhone SE 4 is likely to retain its value better than previous models. This is attributed to the higher price point and its upgraded design and specifications.
