The grand unveiling ceremony of the "Ta Kung Pao" aircraft, jointly developed by Ta Kung Pao and Hong Kong Airlines, was held at the Hong Kong International Airport on Feb. 14.
On Feb. 16, passengers on board the "Ta Kung Pao" aircraft flew directly from Hong Kong to Osaka, Japan, and expressed their pride in the Chinese nation by saying, "Chinese people are so powerful!" Some passengers even wished that Ta Kung Pao could soar into the sky together with the Chinese-made airplane!

The words "大公報" (Ta Kung Pao) were spray-painted in red at the center of the aircraft, and "放眼世界120年" was spray-painted in colorful letters at the tail. During the war against Japan, Ta Kung Pao took an active part in launching the " aviation to save the country" campaign, and purchased a glider from Germany with funds raised, naming it "Ta Kung Pao", which became China's first large-scale glider. On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the victory in the war of resistance, Ta Kung Pao and Hong Kong Airlines joined hands to create a new era of "Ta Kung Pao" aircraft, which kicked off a series of activities in Hong Kong for the 80th anniversary of the victory in the war of resistance.
Mr. Ho, a passenger, said, "It is good to promote the history of China's war of resistance and to fly it again this year." "The shock of DeepSeek and the unprecedented success of 'Nezha 2' proved that the more China is restricted, the more it has to strive to break through," he said.
When Mrs. Ho landed the plane, she took photos with "Ta Kung Pao" airline in the flyover corridor as passengers stepped up to Osaka's arrival counters. She said she would check for the "Ta Kung Pao" aircraft number when she booked her next flight with Hong Kong Airlines, and hoped that she would have the chance to fly with the airline again. Mr. Ho said he hoped that the "Ta Kung Pao" aircraft he would take next time would be the domestic C919.
Akiko, a Japanese passenger, said she was amused by the fact that the name of the newspaper was printed on the airliner, and when she learned that it was related to history, she said that everyone should cherish peace.
