Ocean Park's panda siblings, Elder Sister and Little Brother, made their public debut yesterday (Feb. 16), attracting a record-breaking 5,000 visitors in a single day. The park's panda pavilion reached new heights in daily foot traffic, while thousands more tuned in to the live-streamed event online.

Chairman to the Board of Ocean Park Corporation, Paulo Pong, shared during a radio program today (Feb. 17) that the park is considering extending the public viewing hours for the twin giant panda cubs. He mentioned plans to consult with the animal care team to ensure the best arrangements for both the pandas and visitors.

Pong emphasized Ocean Park's commitment to conservation and education, aiming to promote public awareness of biodiversity while providing an entertaining experience.

He reiterated that the park operates as a non-profit organization, with 40% of its expenses allocated to conservation efforts. Pong added that the park will continue discussions with the government to ensure its conservation and educational initiatives remain sustainable.
