
Big S tragically passed away while traveling in Japan during the Lunar New Year due to pneumonia complications from influenza.
Her cremation took place on Feb. 3 in Japan. According to Taiwanese media reports, her ashes were safely transported back to Taiwan's Songshan Airport this afternoon (Feb. 5) via a private plane, personally escorted by her husband, Koo Jun-yup. The urn containing Big S's ashes is reported to be pink.
Earlier reports indicated that Big S's ashes were to be returned to Taiwan by her sister, Dee Hsu, and her husband, Koo Jun-yup, with plans to arrive tomorrow. However, the timeline changed. Ultimately, Dee Hsu's agent issued a statement saying that the return time is still uncertain while confirming that Big S's ashes have safely arrived in Taiwan today (Feb. 5).
