Secretary for Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Erick Tsang stated today (Jan. 18) that by the conclusion of last year, the administration had amassed close to 120,000 submissions through the Top Talent Pass Scheme.
During a luncheon gathering, the minister mentioned that over 90,000 applications had been sanctioned, leading to approximately 76,000 individuals arriving in Hong Kong.
In November last year, nine mainland universities and four international institutions were incorporated into the scheme's coverage.
Following the annual update earlier this year, the list now comprises 199 universities.
