
Starting today (Jan. 15), holders of Hong Kong SAR passports can apply for a visa-on-arrival at six designated entry points in Saudi Arabia. The visa options include a single-entry visa allowing a maximum stay of 30 days and a multiple-entry visa permitting stays of up to 90 days.
Meanwhile, the Immigration Department also announced today that, with effect from today, the visa-free period for nationals of Saudi Arabia to visit the HKSAR will be extended from 30 to 90 days.
Currently, HKSAR passport holders enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival access to 172 countries and regions, including all six member states of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, comprising Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
