Japanese Foreign Minister to attend Trump's inauguration
Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya announced his plan on Jan. 12 to attend Donald Trump's inauguration as U.S. president on Jan. 20.
"We aim to build a relationship of trust with the Trump administration securely," Iwaya stated during a talk show on NHK. He also expressed his intention to seek a meeting with Senator Marco Rubio, who has been nominated by Trump for the position of secretary of state.
