Observatory issues Frost Warning
A Cold Weather Warning is in force for Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Observatory issued a Frost Warning at 4.30 pm today (Jan. 10), reminding farmers and concerned parties of the possibility of ground frost in the Highlands or the northern New Territories tomorrow morning.
For Hong Kong, the relative humidity in various districts in the afternoon remains around 40%. The Hong Kong Observatory expects a cold morning, with a minimum temperature of about 11 degrees in the urban areas and bitterly cold in some parts of the New Territories and the highlands.
Observatory said Hong Kong is very dry during the day, with a maximum temperature of around 17 degrees. Moderate to brisk north to northeasterly winds, with occasional strong winds offshore and in the highlands tomorrow.
