Henry's Take EP22 | Explore beauty of China under optimized visa-free transit policy
Recently, China has once again optimized its visa-free transit policy, extending the stay duration for travelers from 54 different countries (including the United States) from 6 days (144 hours) to 10 days (240 hours). With this change, tourists will have ample time to explore famous historical sites and experience the natural and cultural wonders of China. This adjustment aims to attract more foreign tourists and talents.
Furthermore, Dr. Henry Ho also mentioned the benefits of this policy for Hong Kong. Hong Kong is striving to become an international talent hub, attracting foreign talents with its low tax rates and connectivity to the mainland. The influx of foreign tourists and talents is a step towards this goal, and policies like multiple-entry IVS demonstrate the importance placed on Hong Kong by the central government.
