JAL Boeing 737 suffers tire blowout on landing at Haneda Airport
A Japan Airlines (JAL) flight from Komatsu Airport in Ishikawa Prefecture arrived at Tokyo's Haneda Airport at about 9:30 a.m. local time and came to a stop on the runway after a tire blew out.
There were about 60 passengers on board and no one was injured.
It is learned that the affected aircraft, a Boeing 737-800, came to a halt on its way to the tarmac, and airport staff replaced the leaking tire on the spot. The aircraft was then moved to the tarmac for passengers to disembark.
