Dog bids farewell to owners who die in Jeju Air crash

A tragic incident involving Jeju Air caused the loss of 179 lives, including a family of nine, leaving their dog "Pudding" alone at home. Recently, "Pudding" was brought to the memorial hall to say a final goodbye to its owners. It seemed to understand the permanence of their separation, remaining silent throughout the ceremony.

According to South Korean media, "Pudding"'s owner was a 78-year-old man who traveled to Thailand with his eight family members to celebrate his birthday. While returning to Korea, they encountered an aviation disaster. After the family members passed away, "Pudding" lost its support and was urgently taken in by the animal protection organization "Care."

Reports indicate that "Pudding," dressed in a blue-green outfit, was taken to the memorial hall by "Care" staff on the afternoon of Jan. 5 to see its owners one last time. It bowed its head while looking at the family's memorial tablet, seemingly bidding farewell to its family. During the reading of the memorial speech, "Pudding" fixed its gaze on the tablet, remaining completely silent throughout the ceremony.

A representative from "Care" stated that "Pudding" was very quiet in its temporary home, appearing to lack energy, as if it understood what had happened to its family.

"Pudding" is now available for adoption.
