1-minute News | An unfurled scroll: Tai Tong Maple Forest turns red

To make it easier for visitors to enjoy the scenery, the MTR has launched a "limited-time" K66A bus service, running on two consecutive weekends to connect Long Ping Station to Tai Tong Shan Road (near the pavilion). Images uploaded by the Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department show the maple leaves along the trails transforming into dazzling shades of bright yellow, orange, and red, attracting many visitors for outdoor activities and photo opportunities. The special K66A bus service has been in operation since Dec. 7 and will run until Jan. 12, operating on Saturdays and Sundays. Buses depart from Long Ping Station between 9 AM and 2 PM, and return from Tai Tong Shan Road between 1 PM and 7 PM, with intervals of 10 to 30 minutes. The fare is HK$5.1 for adults, and HK$2.2 for children, seniors, or students.

Visitors can also choose to take a red minibus from Yuen Long's Hung Min Wai and get off at the Tai Tong Shan Road bus stop, then walk along the pedestrian path to the maple forest, which takes about 60 minutes.
