A tragic incident unfolded in Cincinnati, Ohio, when 3-year-old Kingsley Wright was fatally attacked by two large family dogs on Dec. 27, 2024. According to reports from the New York Post, the girl's father discovered the horrifying scene after waking up from a nap on the living room couch.
In a panicked 911 call, the father described the shocking discovery: "I just woke up and my daughter is dead. There's blood everywhere, I don't know what happened." He also said that his dogs were locked up in cages while he napped.
Kingsley's mother, Gina Smith, who had entrusted her daughter to her ex-husband's care just a month before the tragedy, expressed her disbelief and anger. "I would have not left my baby around vicious dogs. Why would I do that," she said in anguish.
The two dogs, each weighing over 100 pounds, were reportedly kept in the home where Kingsley and her father lived. While the breed of the dogs has not been disclosed, they are now being held at a local animal control center, and the police are continuing their investigation into the exact circumstances of the child's death.
