Photos | First test match held at Kai Tak Sports Park
The main stadium at Kai Tak Sports Park hosted the first test match today (Jan. 5), the final day of the Tertiary Rugby Invitations Sevens organized by the Hong Kong China Rugby, as the tournament prepares for the Hong Kong Sevens in March.
Several audience members today praised the clear perimeter directions and beautiful venue design.
Nineteen teams are taking part in today's event, which will run from 11 am to 6.30 pm, with ranking and elimination matches taking place in turn, with the women's final at 5.50 pm and the men's final to be staged at 6.15 pm.
Ticketed spectators can enter the venue through Gate F as early as 10 am, but they are not allowed to bring in umbrellas over 35cm in length and items such as selfie holders, food, drinks and water bottles.
Tickets have been distributed by the organizer and there will be no on-the-spot ticketing. Spectators with tickets are free to enter and exit the venue during the event.
In addition, the Secretary for Security, Tang Ping-keung, visited the venue in the morning and told the media that the arrangement was smooth, and that the equipment and entrances and exits of the venue would be tested today, and that the difficulty of the tests will continue to be increased in the future, with 3 large-scale tests and different scenarios to be created, so as to ensure that the authorities can deal with the situation in any circumstances.
