7 national security suspects' SAR passports canceled
Secretary for Security Chris Tang exercised the powers conferred on him under the Safeguarding National Security Ordinance and published a notice in the Gazette today (Dec. 24) specifying four measures to be imposed on seven persons, including Ted Hui, Dennis Kwok, Kevin Yam, Yuan Gong-yi, Anna Kwok, Joey Siu and Frances Hui.
The seven national security suspects have had their SAR passports canceled, according to government.
Tang told a press conference that the public is banned from providing the absconders with money, handling their funds, engaging in property transactions or entering into commercial partnerships with them.
Dennis Kwok, Yam and Yuan also had their professional qualifications or company directorships in Hong Kong temporarily stripped.
