Restaurant catches fire in Tai Kok Tsui, with no injuries reported
A kitchen in a Chinese restaurant of a hotel at 18 Hoi Fai Road, Tai Kok Tsui, caught fire at 2:20 p.m. today (Dec. 21), due to a grease trap igniting.
The Fire Services Department responded immediately upon receiving the report and quickly commenced firefighting efforts, ultimately extinguishing the fire by 2:31 p.m. During the incident, approximately 30 staff and diners were evacuated. No injuries were reported.
