According to Bloomberg, sources report that the mainland electric vehicle battery supplier Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL) plans to conduct a secondary listing in Hong Kong, aiming to raise at least US$5 billion.
The company signed a memorandum of understanding with the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation last year, under which CATL will establish its international headquarters and R&D center in Hong Kong.
