The "1974" café, located in the headquarters of the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC), has been very popular since its opening in November. The ICAC released a video today (Dec. 18) related to the classic Hong Kong film "Chungking Express" to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
In the video, the male lead, cast by an ICAC staff member, searches the streets of North Point and finally finds the coffee he desires most. The film includes several classic lines from the movie, resonating with the audience.
The video also showcases that the "1974" café has been beautifully decorated for Christmas.
The ICAC announced that starting today, customers who purchase any coffee at the "1974" café will receive a limited-edition Christmas postcard. Those who take photos at the café and upload them to social media with the hashtag #1974Café will also have a chance to win limited-edition souvenirs.
