
The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Miss Rosanna Law, today (December 16) congratulated Hong Kong swimming star Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on securing a gold medal in the Women's 200m Freestyle at the World Aquatics Swimming Championships (25m) held in Budapest 2024.
Miss Law remarked, "Siobhan Haughey has once again achieved remarkable success on the international stage following her stellar performance at the Paris Olympic Games earlier this year. Her incredible talent and determination have brought global attention to Hong Kong athletes. We are immensely proud of her outstanding achievement and are grateful to her coaches and support team for their unwavering dedication."
