
On the second day of the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup 2024 in Shanghai today (Oct. 19), Hong Kong's Siobhan Haughey qualified for the women's 200m freestyle final. She clocked a time of 1:57.36 in the heats, securing second place overall.
Canada's Mary-Sophie Harvey advanced to the final with the fastest time of 1:54.66.
Haughey will compete for her first gold medal since the Paris Olympics tonight at 7:09 p.m.
Earlier at the Paris Olympics, she won two bronze medals.
