
At the World Aquatics Swimming World Cup 2024 in Shanghai, which commenced today (Oct.18), more than 200 athletes from around the world are competing across 34 events.
The competition features 19 Olympic champions, including members of the national team like Pan Zhanle, Wang Shun, and Qin Haiyang.
In the men's 100-meter breaststroke preliminaries, Qin Haiyang led the field with a time of 56.52 seconds, securing first place in his heat and overall. Sun Jiajun followed closely with a time of 56.80 seconds, ranking second overall and also advancing to the finals.
After the race, Qin Haiyang waved to the audience and gave a thumbs-up gesture.
