A serious traffic accident occurred in Sheung Shui this afternoon (Dec. 14). At around 2:39 p.m., a six-vehicle collision was reported on Jockey Club Road near Sheung Shui Tung Koon School.
The crash involved five private cars and a motorcycle, with one of the cars reportedly emitting smoke immediately after the impact. Firefighters were deployed to the scene as a precaution.
Five individuals sustained minor injuries in the incident. Emergency responders provided immediate first aid at the site and transported three of the injured to North District Hospital for further treatment.
Eyewitness reports indicate that one of the private cars suffered severe front-end damage, with debris scattered across the road. The motorcycle involved was left lying in the middle of the road, with its rear storage box detached. Police are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
