Famous writer Chiung Yao passed away on Dec. 4 at her home, and her remains were cremated on Dec. 11.
After the cremation, her family will bring her ashes to Yangming Mountain for flower burial.
In the morning, Taiwan actress Ruby Lin appeared at the funeral service dressed in black, looking sad. When she was about to arrive at the funeral hall, Lin's eyes were already glistening with tears.
Actress Vicki Zhao also presented a flower basket to pay tribute to her dear aunt.
Chiung Yao's son, daughter-in-law, granddaughters, and other close family members have already arrived at the funeral hall to mourn their loved one.
It was revealed that the funeral parlor prohibits the taking of photographs and the layout of the funeral hall is very simple, which is the wish of Chiung Yao before her death. There will not be a public memorial service, but only a simple family funeral service to farewell the deceased.
