The first test event will be held in the Kai Tak Arena of the Kai Tak Sports Park will hold its this Saturday (Dec. 7). Two basketball games will take place that afternoon at 3 p.m. and 5 p.m., with the first being a secondary school boys' friendly match and the second a U22 match.

Commissioner for Sports George Tsoi Kin-pan stated that ticket holders will be allowed entry starting at 1:30 p.m., and there will be no on-site ticket sales. Approximately 2,000 people are expected to attend; no parking will be available on-site. He urged attendees to use public transportation, suggesting they walk a few minutes from the Kai Tak Station and Sung Wong Toi Station Exit D to reach the venue.

Regarding security checks, he mentioned that long umbrellas, food and drinks, and empty bottles are not allowed inside. Attendees without backpacks or handbags can use a designated entry lane for quicker access. There will typically be 6 to 8 security check gates; if waiting times are long, more gates can be added.

He also noted that a concert mode test will be conducted on Dec. 20, expecting around 5,500 attendees, with testing in the main venue starting in January next year.
