Rosanna Law: Preparing for Kai Tak Sports Park and National Games in 2025
Rosanna Law Shuk-pui expressed her gratitude to Chief Executive John Lee for nominating her and to the Central Government for her appointment today (Dec. 5). She acknowledged the weight of her responsibilities and pledged to work closely with her cultural team to meet public expectations.
Law emphasized that culture, sports, and tourism are deeply tied to Hong Kong's economic and social well-being, making them ideal platforms for telling the world the good stories of Hong Kong. She stated her commitment to leveraging recent Central Government initiatives that benefit Hong Kong, including: The gift of a pair of giant pandas to Hong Kong; The resumption of Shenzhen's "multiple-entry visa" policy for Hong Kong residents; Preparations for the opening of the Kai Tak Sports Park; Ensuring the successful organization of next year's National Games.
Law assured that she would actively engage with relevant organizations and industry stakeholders, listen to their suggestions, and work collaboratively to maximize the benefits for Hong Kong residents and visitors.
