The State Council has decided on December 5, 2024, to appoint Mable Chan as the Secretary for Transport & Logistics, and Rosanna Law Shuk-pui as the Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Rosanna, previously served in various bureaus and departments, and has six years of experience as the Deputy Commissioner for Tourism. She is also well-known as a fan of Ian Chan, a member of the famous local band MIRROR, often spotted by netizens supporting his events during her free time.
In July this year, Ian held his first solo concert, "IAN CHAN 'TEARS' IN MY SIGHT SOLO CONCERT 2024," at the AsiaWorld-Expo, where Rosanna was present to support Ian.
When asked if she was concerned about being labeled a "Fan Secretary, " she said she did not mind. She mentioned that she enjoys listening to music and attending concerts to relax. In addition to Ian, she also attended concerts of singers such as Sammi Cheng and Aaron Kwok this year. She believes that young idols should not only have talent and charisma but also serve as role models and convey positive messages.
