The Whampoa is hosting a dazzling light festival called the "Vivid Luminary Fest", blending HK's retro charm with a dreamy Korean-inspired aesthetic. The festival will also decorate the ship with over 180,000 lights and interactive projections.

Inspired by the retro vibes of HK in the 1960s and 70s—especially the classic geometric patterns of terrazzo tiles—this festival combines nostalgia with modern interactive technology for a one-of-a-kind visual experience. Among the highlights is a 5.5-meter-high archway, perfect for capturing memorable photos.

Besides, don't miss the garden area at the bow of the ship (Site 6), a dreamlike installation featuring vibrant lights and lifelike orchids that transport visitors to a magical wonderland.

The display incorporates champagne-gold decorations, elegant arches, and a fantasy-inspired light installation that feels straight out of a fairy tale. Adding to the experience, the mall has set up 8 MBTI-themed photo spots, each creatively representing the personality traits of different MBTI types through intricate art designs.

Visitors can also enjoy a variety of festive activities such as live performances, a "Christmas pet parade", and handicraft workshops, making it a heartwarming destination for families and friends.

Highlights also include a 5-meter-tall inflatable Santa Claus and a 13-meter-tall Christmas tree, both perfect for snapping festive photos. The plaza will host meet-and-greet events on select dates in December, where visitors can interact with Santa Claus for a one-of-a-kind holiday memory.

For a winter activity like no other, head to their indoor snow-covered ice skating rink, located in the atrium of Phase 1. Spanning nearly 2,000 square feet, the rink is surrounded by a 10-meter-tall Christmas tree, evoking the charm of European Christmas carnivals.
