A traffic accident occurred early this morning (November 25) in Pok Fu Lam. At around 6 a.m., a Mercedes-Benz traveling along Victoria Road towards Aberdeen reportedly lost control near No. 550 Victoria Road, just outside Baguio Villa. The car mounted the sidewalk and crashed into a lamppost, becoming nearly suspended between the post and an exterior wall.

The driver, a man in his 90s, was reportedly trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters arrived promptly and rescued him through the car's sunroof. The elderly man sustained chest injuries but was conscious when sent to the hospital for treatment.

According to Hong Kong 01, the injured driver is a retired man who has maintained a daily routine for nearly 40 years: driving to Deep Water Bay for an early morning swim before heading home. The unusual crash scene has sparked widespread discussion online, with netizens commenting, "How is this even possible?" and "This looks like something out of a movie." Others jokingly called the driver a "master" and remarked, "You really can't predict the kinds of accidents happening these days."
