1-minute News | China further expands its 'visa-free friendship circle' to nine countries!
Remember China's 144-hour visa-free transit policy? Well, China is taking it up a notch! Starting Nov. 8, 2024, through Dec. 31, 2025, China is expanding its visa-free list to include South Korea, Iceland, Finland, and six other countries!
Ordinary passport holders from these nine countries will be exempt from visas to enter China and can stay for no more than 15 days for business, tourism, family visits and transit purposes.
This marks the first time China has implemented a visa-free policy for South Korea. Qingdao Airport boosted flights to 32 daily to welcome Korean tourists.
Other countries benefiting from this policy are equally thrilled. This move advances China's inbound tourism and also gives more people the opportunity to experience China's charm!
