On the 10th, a closing press conference was held for the seventh CIIE, where Wu Zhengping, deputy director general of the CIIE Bureau, introduced that this year's national exhibition gathered 77 countries and international organizations from five continents, hosting over 200 engaging exhibition activities. The enterprise exhibition maintained an impressive scale of 360,000 square meters, with 3,496 exhibitors from 129 countries and regions.

Also, 186 companies and institutions became "full attendance" participants for all seven expos, reflecting global confidence in China's economic development and the attractiveness of its large-scale market. A record 297 Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading companies participated, and multinational corporations presented 450 new products, technologies, and services for their first debut.

Innovations showcased included spinal surgery robots, Michelin lunar rover tires, and manned "air taxis." At the Expo, new products were announced every 15 minutes on average. The automotive exhibition area featured many collaborative technologies and products in the new energy vehicle sector. Oliver Blume, Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG, stated that the experience and technology they have accumulated in the Chinese market will also inject strong momentum into our transformation in the global market.

Airbus showcased three models of the new generation of civil aircraft, with an increasing number of Chinese elements. Airbus China COO, Erik Buschmann, noted that establishing a factory in Tianjin allows better utilization of China's comprehensive supply chain system, ensuring that global supply chains remain intact.

First-time participant WHOSiFY received multiple orders, with founder Augus Au stating, "Through the expo, our brand and products officially entered the mainland market, while we also connected with many potential overseas clients."

WHOSiFY's digital business card tool aims to facilitate the digital transformation of business card distribution, allowing users to scan NFC-enabled cards on their phones, instantly displaying information and enabling one-click storage of business contacts. This service has been promoted in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Singapore.

"This year, we received orders from dozens of clients at the expo, which is a great start for us."

Liu Lingyu, a general manager of Allklear Health Limited in China, mentioned this was their third year participating in the expo.

The company uses freeze-drying technology to create freeze-dried salads and hopes to penetrate both mainland and overseas markets.

"Many potential clients left their contact information, and some expressed interest in receiving samples to discuss future cooperation. We hope to participate in the expo every year."

HKTDC Organizes Nearly 1,000 Business Meetings

Utilizing the CIIE platform, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) organized nearly 1,000 business meetings for 52 Hong Kong companies. Among them, the Ningbo Economic and Technological Development Zone Investment Promotion Bureau showed great interest in our healthcare innovation business, and we plan to explore further cooperation after returning to Hong Kong."

During the Expo, Fudan University School of Management signed a strategic cooperation memorandum with the Hong Kong Centre for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering (COCHE) to establish an international innovation management incubation ecosystem connecting Shanghai and Hong Kong. Solina Ngai, Executive Director of COCHE, expressed hopes that this collaboration would cultivate more innovative talents and facilitate the practical application of research.
